松元　健二

研究概要

日々の私たちの行動は、食欲などの生理的欲求や金銭報酬のためばかりでなく、目標達成や社会的評価の獲得など、実にさまざまな動機に基づいています。どの動機を優先するかによって発現する行動は異なります。それぞれの動機は、異なった行動を価値付けることにより、さまざまな意思決定の基礎となります。私たちの脳は、多様な動機をどのように区別し、どのように行動と結びつけているのか、その脳内メカニズムを、最新の脳機能イメージング技術を用いて明らかにしていきます。さらには「私たちが自ら主体的に行動できるのは何故か」という哲学的な問題にまで、脳科学の側からアプローチします。
