Our society operates based on the dynamic interactions among behaviors of each person. Each person's choice of behavior is determined by how much value a person places on each individual's objectives. The Economic Plane group aims to elucidate the different biological bases of decision making in an individual, which determines how society operates by clarifying 1) how computation and expression of values are performed, 2) how various are created by many different kinds of motivations, and 3) how these various types of values are integrated into a sense of decision-making that leads to behavior in the brain of individuals.
