The Global COE Kick-off Symposium (2008/10/16)

Our proposed program "Origins of the Social Mind", which is centered around Tamagawa University Brain Science Institute has been selected as a Global COE Program supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in the category of interdisciplinary, combined fields, and new disciplines for 2008.

To celebrate this achievement, we are hosting a Global COE Kick-off Symposium with the theme of "the brain science currently being called for".

At this symposium, professors and researchers, who are currently active in this area, will introduce brain research being conducted at Tamagawa University. The connections between the achievements in brain science and education will be discussed in easy-to-understand manner, and the symposium is open to experts and the general public alike, including parents of our students.

Please invite your friends and family to the symposium.

Moreover, if you would like to attend, please send us a completed application by fax or email, and be sure to check the participation application form below to facilitate necessary preparations.

Application deadline is Wednesday, October 22.
